This presentation dives deep into the concept "Professional Life": what it means, why young professionals often struggle to seamlessly navigate it, and how individuals can prepare themselves for the Profreshional learning curve. We have invited Brooke Carter, who is a Program Manager at Uber and Arthur at brookecarterbrand LLC. She also has published a book called Profreshional which aims to be a heads-up to what you might run into with your first few years of employment in a cooprate setting. In this session, she will introduce her shift to the tech world from a non-tech environment, her journey to publish a book, and why it is okay to not be perfect when you first start your career. She will speak about her career, how to balance work and family, and things she wishes she knew when she started her career. We will be leaving time at the end of this session to answer any questions you may have.
