About this event

In the workshop, the speakers will go through some necessary considerations to be made during each stage of developing an empirical paper, which includes conveying the research gap, question, and significance, knitting a logical literature review, explaining the data sources and methodological decisions, communicating the statistical results, addressing the potential limitations, and suggesting room for future studies. Although the research examples in the lecture will primarily come from the social sciences, the speakers will introduce writing techniques as well as online resources and tools that could also benefit those from other majors who are planning to write essays or theses in the coming future.
