Cyber attacks threaten economies and destabilize the critical infrastructure of entire states. What tasks do IT security systems face as a result? How can companies, science, and politics better collaborate? And what opportunities and risks are associated with innovative technologies like artificial intelligence?
This is the focus of a high-level round of experts in a discussion event in the run-up to the Munich Security Conference.
The main speakers will be:
- Phil Venables, Global Chief Information Security Officer of Google Cloud
- Prof. Dr. Claudia Eckert, Head of the Chair of Security in Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Head of the Fraunhofer AISEC.
Additional contributions come from:
- Markus Blume, Bavaria's Minister of Science
- Prof. Dr. Thomas F. Hofmann, TUM President
- Dr. Wieland Holfelder, Head of Development and Vice President of Google Germany
Agenda:
7:00 PM - Admission
7:30 PM - Cybersecurity debate, followed by a Q&A with the audience
8:30 PM - Get-Together with refreshments and "gBräu" (a light beer from a local brewery, brewed on behalf of Google)
