The history of the universe is, in effect, a huge and perpetual quantum computation. Essential speaking this buzzword is the definite future of modern computers and problem-solving as we see today. On the occasion of World Quantum Day (4.14), we are beyond excited to be hosting two speakers from Microsoft's Quantum team to share technical insights as well as career aspects in Quantum Computing! π In the first half, Dr. Mathias Soeken, Researcher and Senior Software Engineer in the Quantum team at Microsoft will present a demo on resources estimation with Q# as well as a demo on how to use Qiskit and Cirq in Azure Quantum with quantum hardware. Following that, Dr. Kitty Yeung, Founder of fashion-tech incubation at Microsoft and former Senior Quantum Architect at Microsoft will talk about career aspects in Quantum. This event is jointly organized by the GDSC at TU Munich, ITER, ETH Zurich, and the University of Oxford.
