GDSC University of Portsmouth

Developer Student Clubs (DSC) are university-based community groups run by Google Developers for students with an interest in growing as developers. By joining a DSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.

What we do

• Help you become well-rounded Software Engineers, not just Software Developers
• Teach practical technical skills using Google Technologies
• Host Tech Talks with industry professionals
• Run hackathons and other fun social events
  
• Cover the basics of Business and Entrepreneurship
• Coach teams for the annual Google Solution Challenge competition
• Work with community groups and local government to make a real difference in our local community
