"Commit yourself to lifelong learning. The most valuable asset you'll ever have is your mind and what you put into it." (Albert Einstein) and “The purpose of learning is growth, and our minds, unlike our bodies, can continue growing as we continue to live.” (Mortimer Adler). These are two quotes that I have embraced, and I believe as a quick summary of the decisions in my life. Taking advantage of the excellent education opportunities I was able to experience throughout my life, particularly for someone coming from an underprivileged community in Latin America, I developed a passion. I found my life’s purpose: learning and continuous improvement. This passion drove me to new challenges and experiences in different parts of the world: • I finished two MBAs in Brazil (International Relations and Finance) • I did an exchange program in Canada - MBA in Business Analytics at McGill • I graduated from MIT with a Master of Applied Science in Supply Chain Management and Graduate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management My first formal education in computer and data science was in the exchange program. After this first experience, I decided to develop further my knowledge in database (SQL), machine learning, and programming (R and Python) with constant use of the knowledge acquired in the opportunities faced in the work environment. With the same mindset, I continue to push myself. I am pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science while working for Amazon as a Senior Instock Manager.
