The goal was to open this club thanks to Google Developer to make it possible for fellow students to have the opportunity to be a part of Googles' community, where we can connect together fellow students not only from The Open University but also from around the world.
There will be several events and opportunities for students within the Club to be able to participate in projects and events Google has to offer, the main project is the Annual Solution challenge where students gather together to find a solution to one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. For anyone outside the faculty, they are more than welcome to collaborate with us or join our events!
I think this is a great opportunity for not only students within the Informational Technology field but also any student with the technological ambition for the future, the opportunity for students to grow not only as a person but professionally as well as being able to expand their network within the community.
