HELLO!!

Introducing the Google Developers Students Club (GDSC)  for the first time in Nkumba University. This is a program run by Google For Developers for undergraduate students in universities around the world,
to learn about Google technologies such as Android, cross platform development, Google Cloud, Machine learning with TensorFlow and so many others, in order to solve real world problems,connect, grow and develop skills. By joining a GDSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.

Benefits of Joining a GDSC at your Campus/University

• Learn : Learn about a range of technical topics and gain new skills through hands-on workshops, events, talks, and project-building activities - both online and in-person.

• Discover the tech world: In the club, your given a chance to know about the new and emerging technologies in the industry and how to use them.

• Goal: To enable students learn, connect, grow, gain practical experience and bridge the gap between theory and practice.
• Mission: To partner with potential sponsors/partners in order to promote and upload Quality, inclusiveness, responsiveness, professionalism, innovativeness.

Who can Join

Every Student is free to join the club although your offering different programs/courses or your in  different schools for-example your an IT student, Computer science student, business student, Law students
In summary everyone is kindly welcomed since its a program not only for computer related programs but for all university students, you wont regret joining the club!!!

What to expect from the Club.

• Showcase your projects in solution challenge/hackathons  to win presents and startups funding from innovation centers

• Networking events whereby you get a chance to meet industry experts for free.

NOTE!!

This Platform will act as a central point for official information regarding upcoming events/workshops and talks!! And to attend an event you have to be a member to the club and register/RSVP in order to get a free ticket for the events.
