About

GDSC are university-based community groups for students interested in Google developer technologies. Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with an interest in growing as a developer are welcome. By joining a GDSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.

The Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is no different from its counterparts, and it is dedicated to bridging the gap between theory and practice, and to making students, from all departmental backgrounds, aware of technologies that can help them tackle problems or make existing solutions better—both in and out of the classroom.

Looking to prepare students for success in a world dominated by technology, the club strives to create an accessible learning environment where anyone, with any experience level, can begin learning about and acquiring technical skills to solve technical and non-technical problems alike. In doing so, GDSC at KNUST aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration with the goal of inspiring projects and solutions that can help people in campus, local, or global communities.

Moreover, GDSC will host events each month, some public and others within the club. Although we focus on using and learning with a variety of developer platforms and tools, this club is also a great opportunity to network with other like-minded students across campuses and build connections with industry, especially for both business and tech-related majors.

If you have any questions and/or concerns, feel free to reach out to us.
