About

GDSC Imperial is focused on community building and product development. Through workshops, ideathons and mentorship programmes, we seek to establish ourselves as a formal society with an active community of technology enthusiasts.

Imperial College has long had an excellence in STEM and Computing. We aim to inspire an interest amongst all students, including those without a computing background, in Software Engineering. We want to teach and get people excited about technology, such as Cloud and AI, so that they can build meaningful products using domain knowledge from their primary degrees.

Our mission is to move the needle at Imperial with a project-based, industry-led approach to enable students from all backgrounds to actualise their interest in Software Engineering with support from Google. Our vision is to become an inclusive Software Development Consultancy for companies, non-profits and organisations in pursuit of social good.
