The start of the semester means more technical workshops with the Developer Student Club! Our workshop series this semester will focus on game development using Flutter -- if you want to learn more about the specifics of the project or go over the prerequisites before the workshop, head over to the github repository we will be using. If the repository seems daunting to you or you don't know what github is, don't worry, we will walk through all the prerequisites at the meeting and make sure nobody gets left behind, no experience necessary!
Workshops are held every Tuesday at 7pm in Jones 306, so our first workshop of the semester is Tuesday, January 31st! If you are interested in game design or software development in general, check it out -- there is no obligation to go to further workshops if you attend tonight. The workshops will be led by members of our Core Team, so if you are interested in potentially joining the Core Team when our recruiting process starts in a month or so, this is a great way to meet the people you would potentially be working with and ask questions about the work we do beyond workshops.
