Come as you are through this interactive roundtable discussion and have your questions answered by our panelists from VMware, Inc. Topics that will be covered: - Day-to-Day responsibilities in the corporate world. - The Career Journey and how our guest speakers came to be what they are right now. Speakers 1 ) Brianna Williams (she/her) Brianna is currently a Senior Product Manager at VMware, responsible for the business of her migration product, and is based outside of Washington, DC. Before moving into product management, she was a Senior Consultant at VMware as well, responsible for deploying and configuring cloud-based products. She began her journey four years ago right after graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park (degree in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management) as a member of the New College Graduate program. It’s been crazy, but she’s enjoying her working experience since graduating! Brianna is very involved in lots of programs at VMware that helped broaden her knowledge and network and is especially passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In her spare time, you can find her tending to her 30+ houseplants, traveling, hiking, biking, or baking 2 ) Mandy Botsko-Wilson (she/her) Mandy is a Principal Architect and Global Technical Customer Advocate for VMware’s Critical Account Program based in Kalamazoo, MI. Mandy graduated from Kalamazoo College, completed computer science and math courses at Western Michigan University, and later obtained a master’s degree in Software Engineering from Cal State Fullerton. As a technologist, Mandy continually expands her expertise from automation and integrations, into the cloud, networking, and enterprise architecture. Mandy is passionate about driving innovative solutions for her customers through generous collaboration. Mandy loves to lift others up, whether that’s through mentoring, public speaking, or coaching her Girls Who Code club. In her spare time, you can find Mandy outdoors, hiking, biking, camping, skiing, or practicing canine agility with her standard poodle. 3) Victoria Gimma (she/her) IT Professional with 15 years experience in Datacenter Design, Implementation, and Architecture. Strong focus in hardware virtualization, network virtualization, software & process automation, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Converged Infrastructure, End User Computing, Application virtualization. Streamlining, Security Operations, Process creation and implementation, Cloud architecture, strategy, design, and planning with VMware Cloud solutions. See you soon!
