With nearly twenty years of experience in multiple industries, Jeremy is a seasoned data scientist who bridges the gap between business and technology in the realm of analytics and machine learning. He has successfully led and delivered advanced analytics projects for global corporations such as Chase, Whirlpool, AstraZeneca, Comcast, Walmart, Con Edison, and has assessed over two hundred analytics firms for M&A transactions. Jeremy has also founded and participated in multiple start-ups focused on customer package goods demand analytics using machine learning, and is known for building one of the first scalable custom AutoML solutions for demand forecasting. His current research focus is on applied reinforcement learning for business applications.


In his presentation, Jeremy will delve into the challenges faced in ML Ops, including models not making it into production, manual and one-off work, lack of reusable and reproducible components, poor handoffs between data scientists and IT, models breaking due to failure to adapt to changes in the environment, lost effort and return on investment, as well as regulatory and governance pressures. Drawing from his expertise, Jeremy will provide practical insights and best practices to overcome these challenges and discuss the future direction of Generative AI.
