The event comprises multiple virtual knowledge sessions along with 2-days of practical implementation with brainstorming problem statements. The event aims to fulfil the knowledge required to become an Open-source contributor and also pave the path to become a successful Google Summer of Code student. ➤ Eligibility: Anyone who wants to begin their open-source journey! Dedicated to learning something new! ➤ Pre-requisites: Basics of Computer Science (not-mandatory). ➤ What do students have to do? Try to grab as much information from the virtual sessions and implement those concepts on Solutions Challenge Days (which immediately starts after the virtual event). ➤ What’s in it for students participating in Git Init? The students with the best solutions in Solutions Challenge will be mentored to process their proposals for Google Summer of Code 2022. ➤ Timeline: Jan 3 - Jan 8 (approx 1 week)
