Summerfest is a 4-day long event for students passionate about building innovative products and solutions to real-world problems. It consists of a cluster of events that enlighten attendees about the latest technology trends; creative sessions, a riveting gaming night, and the most awaited competition of the year HackGDSC, GDSC's sophomore hackathon. GDSC VIT Bhopal believes in providing the latest exposure to developers enabling them to enhance their technical skills during this period of dynamic technological change.

HackGDSC 2022 is a 48-hour long Hackathon organized by GDSC VIT Bhopal from May 27 to 29. The event has no entry fee and is themed around "Building a Community towards Sustainable Development".

We believe that today's students will build and invent technologies that will solve real-world problems and give back to the community.

We aim to provide students with an opportunity to network with experts, alumni, and with each other as well. This would not only give them immense exposure but also improve their skills. Networking allows sharing of ideas and it would be beneficial for community building. Most importantly, we will host networking in the Metaverse - ie Gather!

The perfect end to an eventful fest must be energetic and entertaining. Thus, for the concluding event of Summerfest 2022, we have organized an evening filled with lucrative games, the GDSC Game Nights.
