SDG Open Hack is a 36-hour national-level hybrid first hackathon organized by Google Developer Student Club, VIT-AP aimed at a new generation of impact entrepreneurs, willing to collectively act in order to identify, delineate and address outstanding challenges for the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), through open innovation. Promoting innovation, mobility and international competence, it is open to all current university students, encouraging cross universities and disciplines to form a team to develop the kind of socially-engaged mindsets and entrepreneurial skills to inspire practical, technical, social and institutional solutions to well-identified SDG-related challenges relevant to the Asia-Pacific region in particular.
Through this bootcamp prior to the hackathon, you will explore how to build user-centered and goal-oriented innovation solutions. This bootcamp creates an opportunity for students to leverage resources beyond their disciplines and to iterate practical solutions through design sprints and fast-prototyping.
