Uchi co-invented a novel way of using Blockchain for digital asset and identity management, filled Canadian and US blockchain patents, and uses Blockchain and machine learning to build disruptive solutions as an Engineer and researcher in the FinTech and Digital Identity space.
Uchi founded AfricaHacks, a digital platform for people of African descent to create Startups via learning, hackathon, and community modules. AfricaHacks organizes Africa's largest tech competition, a virtual Hackathon with thousands of youth, Judges, and sponsors from around the world, and supports Hackathons like BothoHacks.org across Africa. The AfricaHacks platform also hosts communities and enables them to learn, create and innovate right on the platform.
Additionally, Uchi is an On Deck Fellow, a Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) Honouree, a Governor's Special Scholar, serial Founder with millions of dollars raised from partners from around the world. And recently, Uchi created chimoney.io, a blockchain and crypto reward token for sending digital gifts that can be spent and invested globally.
On the global stage, Uchi speaks about Blockchain, smart cities, and African potential. Recently, Uchi was a speaker at the University of Pennsylvania, IdentityNorth, and at DeveloperWeek Global, the largest Developer Conference in the world.
