Why join?

APIs (or Application Programming Interface) help make information accessible over the Internet and within your mobile & web applications. They allow you to interact with a database and retrieve, modify, add, or delete data. Most companies with a digital presence (such as YouTube, Facebook, Spotify, etc.) offer access to their public data - proper knowledge on how to handle their APIs will allow you to expand the possibilities of your coding projects!

What you'll gain:

In this workshop, you’ll be learning about REST APIs, how to make calls to an online API to retrieve information, and set up your own API in Python for a web app. We'll also cover the basics of the JSON format.
