About this event
In collaboration with GDSC UTSG, MCSS, and the U of T CTF Team, we will be hosting a CTF (Capture The Flag) competition both in-person and online over the weekend of January 14th and 15th. The 14th will consist of an in-person talk and Q&A panel by our sponsors, an opportunity to gain insight into the cybersecurity industry! Participants will then have time to get hacking with their teammates at our campus venue or virtually. The following day, on the 15th, the CTF will continue until 10 pm, at which point the winning team will be announced!
All participants will need a Discord account to stay up to date on the event, as we will be posting announcements on our server. There will also be the opportunity to form teams there if you are not already grouped up.
A huge thank you to our sponsors, Aon and Cycura, for bringing cyber experts to our event and supplying some challenges for our participants!
A talk delivered by Alexander Cybulski, a CTF expert from U of T, a presentation on a web server 0day discovered by Colin Murdoch, followed by an "ask-a-hacker" panel with security pros Colin Murdoch, Harold Rodriguez, and David Glenn Baylon (All to be streamed online for our remote attendees!)
