Firebase Study Jams introduces the different features of Firebase that can be integrated in creating apps both locally and on cloud. The first pathway gives an idea for developers on coming up with a more secured and established backend development for their web application using Firebase in their local environment.
Things needed before the workshop:
- a simple text editor (e.g. VS Code, Atom, Sublime Text, etc.)
- latest version of Node.js. To install Node.js, use nvm, to check your version, run node --version (https://github.com/nvm-sh/nvm#installation-and-update)
- Java 7 or higher
- Gmail account with access to Firebase console
