Drop that Firebase!: Exploring Cross-platform App Development is a peer-to-peer hands-on workshop to be conducted by GDSC UIC in collaboration with GDSC Mapúa-Malayan Colleges Mindanao chapter that teaches and introduces students to Firebase: an all-in-one service by Google that provides tools and services that help them develop fully interactive apps without backend knowledge.

Drop that Firebase!: Exploring Cross-platform App Development is a peer-to-peer hands-on workshop to be conducted by GDSC UIC in collaboration with GDSC Mapúa-Malayan Colleges Mindanao chapter. This workshop teaches and introduces students to Firebase: an all-in-one service by Google that provides tools and services that help them develop fully interactive apps without backend knowledge. 

This is the second part of the 2-part “Exploring Cross-platform App Development” workshop series in which it aims to provide hands-on experience with various Firebase features such as authentication and database, and to help students understand how to integrate Firebase into their own app development process. The workshop shall be open to all college students from different schools within Davao City, who have existing knowledge in app or frontend development.
