About this event

On Wednesday the 13th (the week after lectures finish), we're combining the 4 M's: Maths, Money, and prograMMing. If you like all 4, come join us at 7pm in the main lab (JH110) of the John Honey building (between the biomedical sciences building and the mathematical institute).

ANYONE, regardless of academic background, is welcome and encouraged to join and you are welcome to use any programming language that you know! You don't need to do computer science to do this. Participants can enter in teams of up to 3 (which they can find on the day at the event).

'BuT wHAt AboUt ThE MoNEy?' you may ask.

There is a prize of £10 for each member of the winning team and £5 for each member of the second place team.

If you're not sure whether you'd enjoy this or even be able to do this, try solving one of the problems we'll be posting at https://www.facebook.com/events/503384314674284/?active_tab=discussion over the next couple of weeks or try a practice problem at https://projecteuler.net/archives.
