Compose Camp: Obrero is a workshop that focuses on Android development with Android Studio, an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) designed for building Android applications; Kotlin, the programming language preferred and widely used by professional Android developers; and lastly, Jetpack Compose, Android’s modern UI toolkit. Even without prior coding experience or knowledge in programming, the aforementioned event will serve as a beginner-friendly introduction to Android development. The attendees will be expected to: • Grasp the fundamentals of Android development; • Understand the basic concepts of Kotlin programming language; • Learn how to utilize Jetpack Compose for designing UI; • Apply their new learnings and skills to develop simple Android applications that they can add to their personal portfolio of applications.
