Challenge 1: COVID-19 Detection using X-Ray images (An Image-based dataset will be provided)
Prizes to be awarded to the winners:
• 1st place winner : 600 AED
• 2nd place winner : 400 AED
Challenge 2: COVID-19 Detection using Symptoms (A tabular dataset will be provided)
Prizes to be awarded to the winners:
• 1st place winner : 600 AED
• 2nd place winner : 400 AED
All participants who submitted their results successfully will be awarded a participation certificate.
Winners will be announced on Wednesday, January 26, 2022
Competition Rules and Guidelines
• This competition is restricted to AUS and UOS students only.
• Students can either register as single participants, or in teams of 2-3 members.
• Participants can take part in both challenges, or in one of them.
• If students will participate as a team, then only the team leader is allowed to:
• Go through the registration process.
• Submit the team's work material and files.
• The competition will be hosted on the platform, dockship.io, where both challenges’ information and material will be given. Submissions will also be through the platform.
• All participants that are joining alone, as well as team leaders, must create a dockship.io account to join the challenges and submit their work.

• Use your university email to create the account.
• Registered participants will receive an invite to the challenges through the platform, dockship (linked above).
• A link to both challenges’ pages on the platform will also be shared with registered participants via email.
• Be sure to submit your work through the platform mentioned above by January 25, 2022,12:00 PM.
