About this event

iCODE Do IT or I Could Do Information Technology (IT) is a programming quiz bowl competition designed to engage and challenge students from the Department of Computer Science, Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Data Science, and Department of Information Technology. The competition aims to provide an exciting platform for participants to showcase their programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and efficiency in algorithmic problem solving.

It aims to actively engage participants by offering them a challenging and enjoyable learning experience. Through the competition, students will encounter a variety of coding challenges categorized into Easy, Average, and Difficult levels. These challenges will require them to apply their programming knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and algorithmic thinking. By participating in such hands-on activities, students can enhance their understanding of programming concepts and gain practical experience in solving real-world problems.

The competition provides an excellent opportunity for participants to demonstrate their skills and efficiency in solving algorithmic problems. By solving coding challenges within a limited timeframe, students will be able to showcase their ability to think critically, write clean and efficient code, and come up with innovative solutions. The judging criteria, based on correctness, efficiency, clarity of code, and adherence to best practices, will highlight the participants' technical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities.

iCODE Do IT creates a competitive learning environment where students can challenge themselves and push their boundaries. By competing with teams from different departments, participants will be exposed to diverse perspectives, approaches, and programming styles. This environment fosters healthy competition and encourages students to strive for excellence, continuously improve their skills, and learn from their peers. The spirit of competition can inspire participants to go beyond their comfort zones and explore new techniques and strategies.
