extendED: Oro Study Jams is a three-day event by the GDSC Chapters in Cagayan de Oro - GDSC USTP, GDSC STI College Cagayan de Oro, and GDSC Xavier Ateneo. The event teaches participants how to use Google technologies such as Flutter, Firebase, and TensorFlow to build software applications and solve problems. Participants will also interact with professionals and learn more about Google, a global leader in technology, innovation, and social impact.

The event name extendED combines ‘extend’ and ‘ED’, meaning to broaden and educate. The event has seminars and workshops on machine learning, mobile development, and data analytics. The event also has workshop sessions, tech demonstrations, and showcase that give participants hands-on learning and exposure to Google technologies such as Flutter, Cloud, and Firebase.

The event helps participants prepare for the Annual Google Solutions Challenge, where they can showcase their solutions using Google technologies. The event also builds camaraderie between GDSC-accredited organizations in Cagayan de Oro City and nearby schools that do not have one yet.
