Join us this Thursday - Saturday, October 28 - 30, 2021 at 1:00PM and get the chance to listen from esteemed guest speakers of various professions in the tech industry.

This will help you get ideas on what career you could be pursuing in the future. Not only that, we will be giving you tips and tricks on building your own network through LinkedIn, forming the best resume/CV, and acing your job interviews.

I am Joy Toledo and I already have more than 4 years of experience in the cybersecurity field. In my role as a security analyst, my forte is all about security operations center focused on monitoring various security tools and responding to security incidents. I got my bachelors degree in Information Technology at Meridian International College, and had my internship at OpenText, which opened the opportunity for me to work in the cybersecurity field. Currently, I am working as a Senior Information Security Analyst in one of the Fintech companies here in the Philippines. I love to learn new things every day, so if ever I have free time, I study Korean language, and other topics related to my work like AWS, Google Cloud, malware analysis, etc. I also love Korean culture, that's why I am into K-pop, K-drama, and even cooking various Korean dishes that I only learned from Youtube.I am also one of the Google Developer Group volunteers that supports diversity and inclusion by inspiring others to pursue career in the STEM industry.

I am Joshua de Guzman and I am a software engineer based in the Philippines. A Google Developer Expert for Flutter and Dart, and a Software Engineer for Echofi, a social investing platform based in New York, USA. He worked as a Lead Engineer at Better Financial Cooperation 🇺🇸 and a Software Engineer at Freelancer.com 🇦🇺. Held several key responsibilities in his tenure—Core Mobile Engineer, Pioneer Flutter R&D, Release Manager. Joshua took ownership of the projects he worked on across different product groups—Mobile, Local Jobs, Freightlancer, Discovery—and helped bring a better experience to over 5 million users on mobile globally 🌎. Life outside work, he enjoys spending quality time with my family—eat, travel, repeat. Joshua also like to read books, write technical articles for the community, and contribute to open-source projects.

Benj Tupas is the co-founder and head of engineering at XLD.Finance.Previously, he was the founder and CTO of Happypoints.ph, an all-in-one loyalty platform for small businesses.He also worked with fintech and telco companies such as Salpay/Salarium and Globe as a Full-Stack Developer to develop innovation projects.Google awarded him as a Google Student Ambassador and a Google Developers Group advocate for almost 7 years.He founded two startups right after college such as (1) Codefaci.com - Uber for coding mentors and learners and (2) Funbuddies.ph - activity sharing to reduce cost of travel for 50,000 users.Lastly, he interned and became a lead on researching innovations at a game firm partnered with Plants vs Zombie, Zuma, and now Rick and Morty while in college.
