The Hackathon event of the year is nearly here! We’re teaming up with our “friends” from GDSC Southampton for a weekend of fun, creativity and friendly rivalry.

Join us on the 19th and 20th March 2022 from 10am to 5pm, in-person for a social hack weekend like no other to build something awesome and the opportunity to win a whole bunch of prizes.

What can I build?

You can build anything you like! We’ve also got some suggested categories that you could build within since we know that choosing anything can be a bit overwhelming.

Do I need a team?

Building something awesome with a team is always a great experience.

If you don’t have a team, there will be plenty of time to find some people to build with!

Is it a competition?

It doesn’t have to be! At the end of the weekend, a panel of judges will select some winners from everything that has been created. If all goes to plan, Portsmouth will sweep Southampton so that we can establish our dominance over the South.

With that said, Hackathon events are great fun. Come along and try something new.

💻 Bring your own materials. Laptops, Raspberry Pis, arts, crafts, anything you need!

🧙‍♂️ You don’t have to be a coder. It takes a wide range of skills to make a good hackathon team.

🍕 We will be providing some catering options over the weekend.
