The DSC Pisa in a joint collaboration with Superheroes Valley (https://www.superheroesvalley.fun) is happy to announce a wonderful seminar about blockchains and NFT.

In the last 10 years blockchains have become more and more famous and the their key concept of decentralization has been applied in many ways: from simple digital currencies like bitcoins to a decentralized execution of code (smart contracts). Now a new technology appeared: the NFT (Non Fungible Tokens).

In this talk we are going to dive into the world of blockchains and NFT and try to better understand how they work.

The talk will be composed of two parts:

• A technical talk in which we are going to explain what are the key concepts of blockchains, smart contracts and an in-depth talk about the NFTs, this new emerging technology that became famous in the last year.
• After that a live coding/workshop session will take place in which we will show how to effectively deploy a NFT on the ethereum testnet

The talk is beginner friendly and no prior knowledge about the topic is required.
