Hi, my name is Ognjen, and I am a mobile application developer.

Currently, I am a student in the second year at the Faculty of technical sciences in Novi Sad.

I graduated from high school as a mechatronics technician, but even in high school I was much more interested in programming than mechatronic, and I started a journey of learning programming by myself.

At the start of that journey, it wasn't everything great, but I didn't give up, because I know it will pay off. The first point was the basics of programming with Java, and I go through that a few times because it was confusing for me. After that, everything was easier, and the rest of the learning go pretty smoothly.

Then it came time to make my first app, the first app for speed reading for Balkan languages. Jurney for that app was pretty interesting, from idea, designing, programming, and at the end publishing app. App become popular, and it comes up to 5k downloads in a few months, for me at that time that was mindblowing.

After first, in one year I came up with two more projects, an app for graduation students, the whole process was pretty the same as with an app for speed reading.

Before 6 months I published my last app for mountaineers, and it is quiz based app for learning different mountaineering techniques. Also, the app contains maps of Balkan mountains which can be downloaded and then be used even on a track.

The goal of all my projects is to help the community, improve education and lifestyle.

After launching the last project, I found my first job as an iOS developer in the company for IPTV television, and right now I work on different projects in the area of IPTV.

I work with different technologies like Swift, Kotlin, Java, Dart, C#, Flutter, and much more.

Mobile application development is my favorite field of programming because these days smartphones are always with us, and the great app can change our everyday life, and for now, I will stay in this field of software development.

Maša is a final year student majoring in Information Systems Engineering at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. She is a Google DSC Lead of the GDSC University of Novi Sad and Chief Operating Officer in the student organization We are the FUTURE of IT. She believes that constant work and dedication are important, as well as a broad view when it comes to the world of information technologies.
