ACM is the University of Miami’s computer science and programming club. We participate in hackathons and attend tech-related conferences. We compete in programming competitions, often at an international level. The IEEE (pronounced: eye-triple-e) is the world's largest professional organization for the advancement of technology. We focus on learning and practicing the essential skills of software engineering via IEEE-run courses, interview question practice, software projects, and hackathons. We also bring in many networking and professional tech talks, speakers, conferences, and events.
