Mr. Tang Kok Mun is the co-founder and CEO of Biogenes Technologies, a Malaysian-based company focusing on development and commercialisation of molecular diagnostic technologies for applications in human healthcare, animal healthcare, agriculture, aquaculture, food safety and pollution monitoring. Mr Tang have over 15+ years of experience in bringing technologies from R&D stage to commercial markets. Mr. Tang majors in Chemical Engineering and MBA from University of Malaya, as well as having graduated from Stanford University Center of Professional Development in Entrepreneurship. He currently also serves as Industrial Fellow in Universiti Sains Malaysia’s Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM).
Lina Esa is the co-founder of Cult Creative, career discovery and networking platform for Southeast Asia's creative workforce. As the former Editor of CLEO Malaysia, Lina has over 10 years in magazine and online publishing.
Joshua Lim is a passionate social entrepreneur and also an Economics graduate working to create a positive impact on the world through innovation. Joshua initially founded Beebag together with his twin brother, Joel Lim. Beebag is a social enterprise focused on eliminating plastic pollution by encouraging more people to use a reusable bag with gamification and positive reinforcement. They have created one of the world’s very first smart reusable bag that can track a shopper’s positive environmental impact and reward them whenever they reuse their bags at partnering stores.

Prior to joining the MYSTARTUP team, Faiz spent 10 years+ supporting various organisation in building and developing the skill-sets and the capability of our nation`s talent through trainings & certifications, skills or knowledge specific workshops, as well as programs such as business incubations, mentorships and business accelerator programs.He is a strong advocate to life-long learning, and believes that education is the key in changing the world.
Ram Gopal Raj received the B.E. degree (Hons.) in electronics and computing from Nottingham Trent University, in 2004, the master’s degree in information and multimedia technology from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2011. He has over ten years of experience as an Academician. He has also successfully supervised Ph.D. and master’s students. During this time, he was a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya (UM), and also held the post of Deputy Director of The Academic Strategic Planning Centre, UM. He is currently the Director of strategy and innovation with AirAsia Academy. He has authored or coauthored various journal and conference papers related to his areas of expertise. His research interests include artificial intelligence, text classification, natural language processing, and logic programming.
