🚀 In order to expand and improve programming knowledge for club members, GDSC-UIT decided to organize a knowledge sharing series about Golang, a programming language that is becoming more and more popular in the programming community.

The first session attracts the participation of many club members, especially students who wanted to learn about Golang and its applications.

🔎 So what is Golang? Golang, also known as Go, is a programming language developed by Google. Golang is designed to be multithreaded and optimized for performance. It provides an efficient approach for building stand-alone systems, especially distributed systems.

🔎 Session 1 – Golang includes the following contents:

- Introduction to Golang and its development history.

- Features of Golang.

- Applications of Golang in areas such as: Web application development, network programming, systems programming, data science and machine learning, cloud computing.

- Develop backend for website with Golang: build RESTful APIs, manage database, Websocket, deploy and maintain server.

⚡ This first session provided members with the basics of Golang and helped them understand why Golang is a programming language worth learning and adopting. Besides, the members also had the opportunity to exchange and learn from experienced Golang friends.
