About this event

This event is meant for anyone at the beginner or intermediate level who wants to learn about creating projects and collaborating on GitHub. We’d like it if everyone could have a GitHub account set up and ready to go for this event. We’ll talk about what GitHub offers to its users and then create a small starter project that you can continue to work on after the event. We know that GitHub can be tricky at the beginning, so even if you have used it before, come by to learn a bit more on how to use this platform. We hope to see you there! (Stay tuned for a part two where we cover a neat feature on GitHub 😉)

This will be a hybrid event on Monday, March 13th from 4pm to 5pm CST. To those who want to join online you can join us through our discord link, https://discord.gg/yf2jwswDSe, the location for in-person will be at SEL East Rm 2061, the EIEP Meeting Space.
