The semester's over and summer is starting soon! Join us as we talk about how you can get started on personal projects you could do by using exactly what you've learned this semester! We'll be answering to live feedback, suggestions, and questions from the audience. It'll make for a good experience as we build the conversation around what your fellow students have learned and what people would like to build this summer. Come pitch in your ideas! We'll be focusing on what is taught in UIC's 100-300 level CS classes for our project suggestions. Everyone is welcome to join this event and we encourage people of any year to join in! If you're a freshman taking 100 level CS classes, it'll be useful to see what kinds of things you'll be learning in future semesters (and for people in 200 level classes, seeing what you'll be able to do in 300 level classes). Join us on April 17th from 4:30pm to 5:15pm in-person at the CS Lounge (SELE 2260) as we close out the semester! (also, check out our online event on the 18th where we talk about a wider variety of project ideas that are easy enough for anyone to jump into without any experience! more info here: https://gdsc.community.dev/e/m578vn/)
