All Solution Challenge participants must be a member of a GDSC chapter. Become a member of our UIC chapter by going to our chapter page (https://gdsc.community.dev/university-of-illinois-chicago/), clicking "Join Us," and signing in with your UIC email.

Come join us in our first event of the semester as we talk about what we have in store for the semester!

We'll talk about Google Developers' Solution Challenge, a three month hackathon where students complete a project to support one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

We'll be going over what you need to know to get involved with the Solution Challenge, including what's required to participate, the timeline, judging criteria, and prizes! 

We'll also be talking about how the GDSC at UIC Core Team will be supporting you throughout the Solution Challenge season. Come and see what events we have planned for Spring 2023! If you don't plan on participating in the Solution Challenge, you are still welcome to join our general body meeting. The events we have planned should be generally useful to everyone. Everyone is welcome to join our events.

Invite any friends or other fellow students who might be interested! Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of level of experience, year, major, or background. Freshmen and people who are just starting their journey into the programming world are encouraged to join!

Don't be shy and come talk with us during the event! Ask us any questions and let us know what languages/platforms you'll be working with or are interested to know more about.
