About this event

Join students from across the US and Canada in this Android Study Jam series taught by Google Developer Expert Sierra Obryan and fellow Google Developer Experts who explore the foundations of Android mobile app development. Come learn about another Google technology you can use for this year’s Solution Challenge!

This series provides an overview of the fundamentals to develop a mobile app. Students will come out understanding how to code in Kotlin, how to use Android Studio, basic app design, and interactive features!

Join us every Wednesday from March 9th to March 30th at 6pm CST and get the opportunity to earn badges, construct an app, and win Android swag!

In this first session we will go over how you can earn badges that show off what you've learned, a brief overview of the next 3 sessions, and most importantly the basics of how programs are written in Kotlin!
