3) How to start building AI solutions easily on Google Cloud? (30 mins) - Norbert Liki

A compass for developers which direction to choose when they want to experiment with Machine Learning technologies.

4) Machine Learning workshop (2 hrs) - Diego Alonso

Hands-on crash course about practical AI/ML to non-AI experts using Vertex AI.

We are going to build a data ingestion and connect several ML blocks doing inference for real use-case, then replace some of the ML blocks with a custom model that we train.

• Familiarize with Google Cloud: UI and Console
• Ingest Images in Cloud Storage
• Create an end-to-end pipeline with trained AI models (or API calls to pre-trained models) in Vertex AI (either Workbench or Pipelines)
• Run the pipeline with one of the sample images and check the output
• Replace one the trained models with a model that we trained
• Use the provided Qwiklabs credits to do guided labs at home about GCP and Vertex AI

Attendees will be provided with GCP tokens worth $50 for the workshop and with Qwiklabs credits to do guided labs at home.

We have a limited number of seats.

The first 50 attendees will be provided with free GCP tokens, the rest of the attendees can join using their own GCP access. (We can help you set this up)
