About this event

In this virtual event we will introduce the Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) to you! We will talk about our mission, goals and listen to your suggestions. Our next events will be based on what YOU want, whether that is a hands on workshop, or a tech talk by someone from the industry. Brainstorm ideas and let us know! In fact, towards the end of this event we will play quiplash to have some fun, and we will make our top priority be to host an event of the winner’s choice.

We will talk about the Solution Challenge, a contest sponsored by Google, which can help all participants acquire amazing skills and kickoff their career.

Tara Malone, Center for career development Director at UConn - Stamford, will be with us to talk about how we can leverage our club experience. And, Daniel Fiorillo, a program manager at Google, will inform us of how to get your story featured by Google, and help answer GDSC related questions.

We hope to see you there and have some fun!! 😊
