We will demo Python using the Google Cloud Skills Boost website and would like for you to follow along and work with the Python environment hands-on. You will be given a 30-day Google Cloud Skills Boost subscription if you follow the steps below. Once you register for the monthly subscription, you will be able to enroll in the selected quest for free. We advise that you use a personal Gmail account so that you can have access to your Google Cloud Skills Boost profile after you graduate, primarily in the case that your Colorado.edu account is deactivated. If that’s not of concern to you, feel free to sign up using your colorado.edu account.

It will take you to a lab titled "A Tour of Google Cloud Hands-on Labs"
Click Join in the upper right-hand corner and create a Google Cloud account.
Click Start Lab in the upper-left hand corner of the “A Tour of Google Cloud Hands-on Labs” web page.
The 45 minute timer will start. Wait 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, click the button to end the lab.
In the upper-right hand corner, click your profile icon and it should display your monthly subscription has been activated.
We encourage you to use the 30-day subscription to complete a badge and enroll in other learning opportunities to earn other badges!
