It is with great prestige that we announce the commencement of Devfest 2021 that is to be held at the University of Central Punjab on the 18th of December 2021. Devfest is one of the largest Google technological events that take place in Pakistan and this year the University of Central Punjab has the honor to host this amazing event with the esteemed Google Developers Group (GDG) Lahore. Devfest brings together a large-scale developers' conference in Pakistan that brings a hybrid of talks, workshops, and code labs, bringing together tech enthusiasts, developers, and the entrepreneurial community for an immersive experience focused on exploring the next generation of diverse technologies.
DevFest is organized by GDG Lahore, an official chapter of Google Developers Group, supported by Google –– where we focus on growing and empowering the local developer community in Pakistan by organizing developer conferences, workshops, hackathons, and other events. The ideal goal of this event is to enlighten youth to come together and join hands to talk about the latest technological advancements in google and how can it be used in our advanced software to provide more efficiency and reliability in our daily lives. In this event, various speakers of Google Technologies are invited and they provide us with the new and latest advancement in their respective domain and how they have forged a new and better path, what kind of challenges they faced, and discuss what are yet to come, they share their ideas, goals to find people of their similar passion to pursue a common goal, Topics which are to be discussed include Android, Chrome / Web APIs, Machine Learning, AI, Firebase and multiple google ordained frameworks, etc.
