UCSC DSC is hosting a Guide to Landing a Job in Tech event on Monday, November 9th! There will be Microsoft, Amazon, Seagate Technology, and Palo Alto Networks interns present to share their experiences. In this workshop, we will take you along the steps to landing a job in tech. We will be going over the do’s and don'ts of virtual recruitment, navigating online events, finding the right jobs for you, and the application process itself. We will also provide tips on developing a professional resume and LinkedIn profile, giving you the tools to best present yourself to employers. We will also delve into key technical interview topics, including behavioral interview pointers, and how to go about tackling a technical interview question.
