Info Session x Tech Talk : Kickstart Your Career With Fundamental IT Knowledge is the first event to be held by Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) chapter University Brawijaya 2022-2023.

Info Session aims to introduce Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) generally with more detailed information about GDSC chapter University of Brawijaya specifically. There will also be more information regarding the GDSC UB 2022-2023 member registration and opens to any questions about the GDSC UB. Info Session will be presented by the Lead of GDSC UB 2022, Catherine Vania and the Community Development of GDSC UB 2022, Mikha Aziel Christian Sitepu.

The event will continue with a seminar that discusses IT career paths. As most people stigma, IT is familiar with all of the programming environment that seems extremely hard to learn. Fortunately, that was very underrated due to the fact that IT is more than programming skills. There are other fields requiring high creativity, such as UI/UX and IT product manager. That’s why, alongside the Info Session, GDSC UB will also hold a Tech Talk : Kickstart Your Career With Fundamental IT Knowledge by Ahmad Farhan, Associate Product Manager at Traveloka, who will share insights about IT career paths and IT career goals.
