This event will include basic terminology and structure of Linux, as well as some advanced tips on using it. We will talk about bash scripting language and automating tasks using it and we will cover tools and programs such as vim, ssh, tmux and mpv. Plan is to also do an install of a Linux distribution so you can learn how to set everything up and hopefully try it out yourself. Goal of this event is to push you towards making a switch to Linux, while not being afraid of a terminal, as easy as possible.
