Energetic is a board game that invites you to work with others to transform a city’s energy system and fight climate change, plan, invest, and build energy projects that cut emissions and increase renewables. This aligns perfectly with the United Nation's 17 Sustainable Development Goals and thus, you'll get a chance to contribute to the upcoming Google's Solution Challenge.
Following its resounding success in U.S. universities and high schools, Deepak Sridhar—the global development manager of City Atlas—has decided to bring the board game to the world to allow everyone to learn about energy transition and decarbonization of the world. Being the former product manager at Google and has strong connection with the GDSCs, he has been cooperating with GDSCs worldwide, forging partnerships with esteemed universities. This month, Energetic takes center stage in renowned Dutch institutions—UvA, VU, TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, and more—and you can be part of creating a version of Energetic tailored for the beautiful Amsterdam.
