This intermediate series aims to show the more in-depth features of Firebase, so you can build your apps with even more confidence.

In the first event of the series we’ll explore how to build more complex Firestore queries. We will learn about filtering, sorting, paginating and limiting your database requests to receive the required data. By the end of this session you should be comfortable to try out some queries in your own Firebase projects.

Along with the event, we will be providing the opportunity to engage with us by contributing to the mock e-commerce website which we'll be using to demonstrate the concepts we will be covering.

Requirements:

1. Basic programming experience with HTML and Javascript is useful.
2. You can use either Windows, mac-OS, or Linux.
3. No prior database experience required.
4. No prior software development experience needed.
5. Although not required, it is recommended to go through the “Intro to Firebase” series.
