About this event

This event is an information session, as the name implies it is an informative event for students/attendees to educate them on everything about the Developer Student Club, which is global initiative by Google, this session which will be virtual happening Google Meet will feature amazing guest speakers that willing to share their knowledge and experiences with attendees. This event will be running for two hours straight, so we can get as much information and knowledge out as possible and also answer questions too.

Introduction and opening remarks by Adekola Olawale	The purpose of this info session will be laid out here, and attendees will get an overview of what to expect from the session.
Overview of DSC: What DSC is all about by Wickliffe O. Edison	This talk will be for 30 minutes and it will be given by the awesome Ex-DSC Lead University of Abuja. Wole was the first DSC Lead for University of Abuja chapter, so he will be talking us through what DSC ultimately wants to achieve, and the impact and difference it has had in people's lives.
Opportunities of joining the DSC by Aniedi Udo-Ubong	We will be having the incredible Aniedi Udo-Ubong, DSC Regional Lead Sub-Saharan Africa bless with his wealth of experience and knowledge on being part of the DSC and the awesome opportunities that await individuals that are willing to seize it. Talk will last for 30 minutes
Selecting A Niche In Software Development by Ama David	The amiable Ama David who is the current president of the National Association of Computer Science Students(NACOSS), will be talking to us about the importance selecting a certain path in the vast fields of Software Development and sticking with it until a point where you are confident in your skills in the field and have built projects with it to deepen your knowledge, then feel free explore other path that pique your interest.
