Android Study Jams - Continued

After a great response for the first two sessions, we're hosting another study jam. We'll be continuing with what we started and learn new concepts now. There will be a QnA session as well, to answer your doubts so far. Kotlin is almost done, will be focusing on Android Studio almost exclusively. See you there!

About this event

📌 WHAT ARE ANDROID STUDY JAMS?

Android Study Jams are community-organized study groups for people to learn how to build Android apps in the Kotlin programming language, using the curriculum provided by Google. Even beginners in programming are encouraged to participate!

📌 PERKS FOR PARTICIPANTS:

  • If you register on this page and attend all the study sessions, you'll be eligible for a certificate.
  • This program could be an excuse to begin your developer journey if you're a beginner.
  • Earn badges for your Google Developer profile.

🤷‍♂️ Who is the audience for Android Study Jams?

This program is for people who are new to Android development and want to learn the best practices for how to build Android apps in Kotlin.

🤷‍♂️ What are the prerequisites for participating?

Basic computer skills and basic math skills.

🤷‍♂️ What equipment is needed?

You should have a computer with internet access. It is recommended to have a physical Android device and USB cable (to connect to the computer). The computer should meet these system requirements, in order to install Android Studio for building Android apps.

🤷‍♂️ How should attendees install Android Studio on their computers beforehand?

You can install Android Studio here. These instructions may also be helpful. If you face any issues, we would be happy to take up any doubt during the session.

We hope that you register for this event!

Please note that we would not be providing any schwags/merchandise to the participants. We hope that what you learn from the program will outweigh the goodies :)
