This workshop aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles. It begins with an exploration of the fundamental concepts underlying UX and UI, emphasizing their significance in the design and development of effective digital applications. The workshop then delves into an in-depth review of key design principles, including balance, contrast, alignment, and hierarchy, elucidating their role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Moreover, participants will be introduced to Figma, a prominent design tool, through an overview of its features and capabilities for UI creation and collaborative teamwork. The workshop culminates in practical exercises, wherein participants will apply the acquired design principles using Figma, fostering a hands-on approach to reinforce their understanding and proficiency in designing engaging and intuitive interfaces.
