Nowadays, people are using their smartphones more frequently than using their computers. According to research, 52.2% of the traffic came from mobile phones. It clearly shows that users tend to use their phones more than using a computer. With the global number of mobile phone users growing steadily, the number of app downloads is also increasing. In 2019, there are more than 2 million apps available to download on Google Play Store, while 1.83 million apps in Apple App Store. It clearly shows that developing mobile apps is currently a trend. The Android Study Jam would be a series of workshops that will be conducted by our DSC Technical team. This Android Study Jam will expose the participants to App Development in Android by using Kotlin. Participants will be able to learn programming in Kotlin, Android Studio, develop their Android application, and also be exposed to some interesting projects.
